What happens during an Aromatherapy Massage
Your Aromatherapy massage lasts from 15 to 60 minutes. We can focus the treatment on the arms and hands, legs and feet, neck and shoulders, back or full body. The session will start with a consultation when you can explain to us what you want to get from the treatment. This consultation will help us determine what combinations of essential oils to use during your treatment.
After your consultation, the selected essential oils are mixed with vegetable-based carrier oil. You will sit on a low-backed chair for the treatments on the arms and hands or neck and shoulders. We use the couch for legs and feet, back or full body. Towels are used to cover areas of the body not being worked on ensuring your modesty.
Once the treatment has finished, we will give you water to drink and a final consultation. In this consultation we will answer any of your queries and will give you after care advice. You should avoid alcohol and caffeine in the hours after the treatment. We will advise you to drink lots of water and rest if you feel your body wants to.
